An initiative of Saral Sadhana Seva Sansthan, Rishikesh
Gaonvala came into being under the auspices of Saral Sadhana Seva Sansthan, Gohri Mafi, Rishikesh. Saral Sadhana Seva Sansthan is a Trust registered under The Indian Trusts Act, 1882, a non-profit organisation which was formed under the guidance of the Great Mauni Baba ji of Chitral State who was a self-realized soul and his ardent disciple Mata Shashi.
The trust came into being in 2004 and is devoted to the Spiritual Awakening of all its followers as per the path enunciated in the Upanishads and Vedanta. The estate of the trust spreads across 5 acres with a famous Laxmi Narayan Temple, beautiful orchards, a spacious meditation hall, a Gaushala and farmlands where organic farming is practiced. A daily vedic havan and various other rituals are conducted with remarkable devotion.
The noble initiative of Goanvala had its deep inspiration from the Saral Sadhana Seva Sansthan’s age-old farming practices at the Rishikesh estate and at the farmlands near khatauli in Muzaffarnagar where only native(desi) variants of mustard, sugarcane, wheat, fruits and vegetables are grown.
Vivek Vaibhav Singh, Vice-President of Saral Sadhana Sansthan and his wife, Megha Singh are the founders of Goanvala. For decades both of them have experienced the pre-eminence of a vedic way of living. Vivek Vaibhav Singh, a practising psychologist, is deeply devoted to the emotional, mental and physical well-being of anyone associated with him. In the aftermath of the second wave of the Covid-19, he felt an urgent urge to share the essential superfoods prevalent at the Saral Sadhana Seva Sansthan along with farm practices and ancient processing methods to the rest of the world.
As a matter of pride, during the Covid-19 pandemic, none of the sadhak or sevak of the trust got seriously ill due to the deadly virus. It was all due to the high degree of immunity everyone possesses owing to the absolute purity and nutritional richness of the essential superfoods which are part of the sansthan for the last two decades.
